Many churches have a heart to become more disability inclusive but they just aren’t sure where to start. That’s where Our Place can help.
We can journey with you and your church community to become more disability inclusive. There are a range of different ways Our Place can support your church. That might involve downloading some of our inclusion resources, organising disability training for your leadership and church members, or even disability consultancy tailored to your particular church’s resources and needs.

How we can support you
Making Communities
Our Place nurtures and disciples mixed-ability, neurodiverse, residential Christian community in living relationship with local churches. We link people and families to housing and disability support possibilities.
Resourcing Churches
Our Place inspires churches to build living relationships of mutual discipleship with people with disability. We resource the Christian community to practise inclusion through church training events, consultation with church leaders, support workers, and families.

Our vision is a world where people with disabilities are safe and known, connected and growing, celebrated and loved. We want to love the people in our communities, practising hospitality, sharing life’s seasons and celebrations. We value being, becoming, believing, belonging, blessing and being blessed.

Would you like to help resource churches and make communities that truly include people with disabilities? We are looking for members to formally join our team and to grow our informal network of disability inclusive Christian Community makers. From celebratory meals to help with housing we would love you to be involved.
